North-West College Recognized Hundreds of Graduates at Virtual Commencement Ceremony

Event Underscores College’s Commitment to Equipping Health Care Professionals for Success

WEST COVINA, Calif.—On Friday, June 18, North-West College (NWC) once again came together with its family of Colleges, Glendale Career College and Nevada Career Institute, for a virtual Commencement Ceremony to honor the accomplishments of more than 750 graduates. This live-streamed event marked the third virtual graduation for the College, and drawing thousands of family members, friends, and Instructors together to celebrate this significant milestone for these new graduates.

“We are immensely proud of what these graduates have achieved,” explained NWC President Mitchell Fuerst. “They have chosen to further their education and move toward a brighter future for themselves and their families in the midst of incredibly challenging times. We have no doubt the same tenacity and dedication they displayed in their programs will take them far as health care professionals.”

The graduates represented a number of NWC’s programs, with some earning diplomas, and others associate’s or bachelor’s degrees. North-West College Team Members worked hard, making every effort to ensure the evening was a special occasion for the students despite the virtual venue. Graduates had the opportunity to wear their cap and gown, provided complimentary by the college, sharing photos and videos with their friends on social media. The ceremony included a heartfelt message from President Fuerst, along with the official presentation of the college’s new graduates, individuals who will be stepping into roles that are crucial to our country’s health care system.

“The need for well-trained health care professionals is greater than ever,” Fuerst shared. “At North-West College, we are committed to continuing to help fill this need, as we equip students to succeed in a rapidly evolving health care field and make a difference in the lives of the patients and the communities they serve every day.”
