North-West College Prepares to Open New Campus in Bakersfield, California
New Location Underscores College’s Continued Commitment to Educating Students for Success

BAKERSFIELD, Calif.—As part of its continued commitment to providing quality education programs throughout California, North-West College (NWC) recently announced plans to build a new campus in Bakersfield, California. Slated for completion later this year, the new Campus will bring the health care training programs NWC is so well known for to the residents of Kern County.

“For more than 50 years, we have changed students’ lives through our quality short-term and professional programs,” explained Chief Operating Officer Beylor Meza, “and we are excited to continue to do that for the Bakersfield community.”

North-West College’s Bakersfield Campus will launch with an Associate of Arts in Nursing (RN) Program, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing Program planned to follow in the future. In addition, the College will soon expand its list of program offerings at the new campus with short-term training in allied health programs, including Medical Assistant, Pharmacy Technician, Medical Insurance Billing, and more.

A hallmark of North-West College, each program engages students with a blend of in-class instruction and hands-on training. This combination allows students to cement their newfound skills and knowledge so they can hit the ground running in the health care field when they graduate.

“Our goal is to create a dynamic and supportive learning environment for our students, equipping them with the skills they need to thrive in their field,” Meza shared. “We can’t wait to see how our Bakersfield graduates will go on to change others’ lives by providing excellent patient care in the clinics, offices, and hospitals where they will work in the future.”
