North-West College (NWC) Prepares to Move Campus to Anaheim, California
Current Santa Ana Campus to Move to Anaheim Location

ANAHEIM, Calif.—As part of its continued commitment to providing quality education programs throughout Southern California, North-West College (NWC) recently remodeled a beautiful facility located at 511 North Brookhurst Street in the city of Anaheim, which will house the College’s Santa Ana Campus beginning in late May. Currently at 1840 East 17th Street, NWC has served the students and community of Santa Ana for more than five years, and will continue its mission to train individuals in short-term programs for gainful employment from its new Anaheim campus.

“The new Anaheim Campus is just nine miles from our current facility in Santa Ana and brings with it additional classroom space, allowing NWC to add its Dental Assistant program to this new facility,” explained Divisional Director of Operations Jeff Akens. “We are excited to dive into the Anaheim community and offer the excellent programs North-West College is known for to the residents of Anaheim and its surrounding cities.”

In addition to its Dental Assistant program, the Anaheim Campus will provide a variety of health care training programs, including Medical Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, Medical Insurance Biller and Coder, Massage Therapist, Pharmacy Technician, Surgical Technologist, and Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Ultrasound Tech). Renovations are nearly complete, which will outfit this facility with classroom and lab spaces for each program offering.

A hallmark of North-West College, each program engages students in a blend of in-class instruction and hands-on training in the lab. This combination allows students to not only cement their newfound knowledge, but to hit the ground running in the World of Work upon graduation.

“Our goal is to create a supportive learning environment for our students,” Akens shared. “We recognize that our campuses are more than just buildings—they are spaces for students to grow and learn, and gain the skills they need to achieve their career goals—which we remain committed to providing at our new Anaheim Campus.”
